Stack Frames are great as temporary racking. They can be stacked in a small footprint until required, thereby making full use of expensive warehouse space.
Because two or more sides are open, long lengths of carpets, poles, timber, etc, can easily be stored and relocated whilst still in the frame.
The base corners act as sleeves for the posts. The posts are capped to prevent water ingress. Locating the base cup feet onto the four capped posts is very easy. The load weight is transferred directly down each corner post to the floor.
The Demountable Stack Frame. It is sized 1450 mm long x 1000 mm wide x 1500 mm high.
Loading capacity: 1500 Kgs. Stackable 3 high.
Powder coat finish with a blue base and yellow posts. This size will take a standard Aussie pallet with an overhang front and back of 90 mm.
Alternatively, they can be ordered up in any size and post height, and are suited to any oversized or awkward shaped product.
The pictures show firstly the base frame with removable posts; secondly, in use in a carpet warehouse simply by placing them end on to each other; and thirdly, in a bag warehouse where oversized frames were necessary for the large bags.

The best part is that when the bases are stacked onto each other, they only take up the footprint of one frame, so there is minimal yard or warehouse storage space required to store them, and like the ABLE Containers they are very cost effective to transport.
The Folding Stack Frame incorporates two sturdy side frames that fold down when not in use to allow shipping, without any loose poles. Takes a few seconds to set up. The frame construction prevents large objects from falling through.
Perfect for pallets. poles. carpets, cartons, large loose parts, etc.
Stack Frames are perfect for closed loop delivery systems where the container can be returned to the depot for re-filling. Many times, no pallets are required, and the load can still be stretch wrapped and top covered for safety, weather protection and theft minimization.
As the corners sit snug under the feet of the unit stacked above, the stack for transporting is very stable.
External Dimensions: 1430mm wide x 1060mm deep x 1200mm high.
Internal Dimensions: 1320 x 950 x 1110mm high.
Underside Clearance 100mm. Corner Stack Height: 350mm.
Single Unit Capacity: 2000 Kgs
Stacked: 1000 Kgs.
The finish is Royal Blue painted.

STACK FRAMES are also great for that instant racking requirement. If you’ve Just moved in, or renting a temporary space, or when you have a seasonal influx of stock, then STACK FRAMES are a great option. Simply stack them up and move, or de-hire them when you are finished. No fuss, just pull out the corner posts. No dismantling of beams or making good the floor.

Q: What are stack frames used for?
A: Stack frames are modular steel storage units used to stack and store palletised or loose items in warehouses. They’re ideal for temporary or changing storage layouts where permanent racking isn’t practical.
Q: What is the difference between a demountable and a folding stack frame?
A: Demountable frames are assembled from separate uprights and bases, while folding stack frames collapse into a compact unit when not in use. Both are great space-saving solutions.
Q: Are your stack frames compatible with forklifts?
A: Yes. All models are designed for safe forklift access, with openings that suit standard tines and stable bases to prevent tipping during movement.
Q: How much weight can they support?
A: Load capacity depends on the frame model and stacking height. We supply frames that support up to 1,000kg per level in most standard setups.
Q: Can I stack them more than two units high?
A: Yes, depending on your load type and floor conditions. Most setups can safely stack 3-4 units high. Always follow the manufacturer’s safety guidelines or consult us for advice.
Q: Do they require installation or tools to assemble?
A: No permanent installation is required. Most frames slot together or bolt simply, allowing for fast assembly and disassembly without specialist tools.
Q: What finishes are available?
A: Standard finishes include powder coating for indoor use and hot-dip galvanising for outdoor or wet environments. Custom colours may be available on request.
Q: Can I use them outdoors?
A: Yes. Galvanised stack frames are corrosion-resistant and suitable for outdoor applications, including agriculture, construction, and outdoor storage.
Q: Can I customise the frame size or configuration?
A: Absolutely. Let us know your required footprint, height, or load dimensions, and we’ll work with you to supply a customised solution.
Q: How do I place an order or get a quote?
A: Call Ron directly on (03) 9720 0425 or email ron@kinggroup.com.au. We’ll help confirm sizing, quantity, and delivery details.
